We’re thrilled to announce the release of our project video showcasing WiLiMan-ID’s groundbreaking approach on preventing the spread of animal infectious diseases!
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen firsthand the impact infectious diseases can have on our world. But what about the diseases that threaten not just humans, but animals too? WiLiMan-ID is an EU-funded project aimed at combating five of Europe’s most formidable infectious diseases:
- Bird Flu
- African Swine Fever
- West Nile Fever
- African Horse Sickness
- Chronic Wasting Disease
WiLiMan-ID is pioneering an early warning system through detailed study of pathosystems, gene analysis, and computer modeling to prevent outbreaks and safeguard both livestock and human health.
